EJ Autism Foundation is holding their 17th Annual Jigsaw 4 Mile Run/Walk on April 24th and are looking for some volunteers.  Between Just for Kicks (EISC soccer program for children on the Autism spectrum) and the EJ Autism Foundation, we each help support events within our programs and community.  Please consider volunteering Friday evening and/or Sunday morning.  EISC has always been amazing at giving back and we once again, need your help!  Wear your EISC colors to show your support!

Know someone who is participating?  Volunteering on race day is a great way to get a front row spot to cheer on your loved ones.

On Friday, 4/22 @ 5pm volunteers are needed to help load their race truck that goes down to the marina. It’s usually 50 or so cases of water and 25 boxes of shirts and other items, typically stuff on the heavier side. Pizza and soda will be provided!
Location: 132 Bayview Ave, East Islip

On race day Sunday, 4/24 @ 9:10am – 10:45am we need volunteers who stand at intersections and act as race marshals so that people don’t drive on the racecourse and help keep the runners safe. There will be barricades that need to be set up and race marshals will need to use their judgment so that a car can exit safely if need be. These volunteers should be adults only please.  If you are stationed by the start of the race you will be done earlier and if you are closer to the finish line will need to stay until 10:45am.

All road marshals will be provided with some sort of EJ Autism Foundation shirt.

1.    Amber Court and Bayview 
2.    Deer Run and Bayview
3.    Brushwood and Bayview 
4.    Josephine Lane and Bayview 
5.    Midwood Ct and Bayview 
6.    Quail Run and Sandpiper (so that cars heading north on Quail run don’t go on course) 
7.    Tern Ct and Sandpiper 
8.    Woodland South at Sandpiper (so cars heading north don’t drive on course)
9.    Gwendolyn Place and Woodland 
10.  Shinnecock Lane East and West off Woodland 
11.  Naugatuck and Woodland 
12.  Timberpoint and Woodland on East side and North side (so people don't turn the wrong way and so that cars can’t travel South on Woodland and West towards Bayview) 
13.  Menasha and Timberpoint
14.  Bayview and Kemp
15.  Starlight and Bayview (closes Bayview going south big stop.  Road closes at 920am on the dot)
16.  Hercik and Bayview 
17.  Dock Rd and Bayview 
18.  Birch Rd both ends on Bayview
